Genoa is dense. Don't try to see everything. Focus on the contrast between the Sea and the History.

09:00: Start at Porto Antico. Coffee at Eataly.
10:00: Aquarium Visit (2 hours).
12:30: Lunch in the Old Town. Try Sottoripa for fried fish.
14:00: Hop on the Bus at Aquarium (Red Line).
14:45: Hop off at Boccadasse. Relax, photos, gelato.
16:00: Hop back on.
16:30: Hop off at Piazza De Ferrari.
17:00: Walk down Via Garibaldi to see the palaces.
18:30: Aperitivo in Piazza delle Erbe.

This loop gives you the "Big Three": Aquarium, Boccadasse, Palaces.
