History of the Mercato dei Fiori in Foce. Once the center of the flower trade, now replaced, but remembered for Euroflora.

Genoa is famous for the Euroflora exhibition. For decades, its home was the magnificent Flower Market in the Foce district (near the end of the Red Line).
It was a masterpiece of modern engineering, a vast shell of concrete and glass that hosted thousands of traders.
The area is currently undergoing a massive waterfront redesign (Waterfront di Levante) by Renzo Piano. The old market is gone/transformed, making way for a new canal district.

We are passionate about Italy's underrated cities. This guide helps visitors unlock the secrets of Genoa, navigating its vertical landscape with ease and comfort.
